Wally Brown, V.C.



     Gunner Walter Brown was last seen heading for enemy lines with grenades.  His last words were

"No capitulation for me."  In his fifties, he received the Victoria Cross in the first world war, and

certainly did not need to serve in the second.  This is a very fine man.
