The best day (and night) of my teenage life.  She was lithe, beautiful and highly intelligent.  I was at the height of young self confidence without two brain cells to rub together.  Absolutely perfect combination. 

All thats left of a very bad post.  Who cares about a bunch of limeys dying heroically and for no good reason?  Not my readers.

     Gunner Walter Brown was last seen heading for enemy lines with grenades.  His last words were "No capitulation for me."  In his fifties, he received the Victoria Cross in the first world war, and certainly did not need to serve in the second.  This is a very fine man.

     The sun shines bright on Garfield, and the gentle, carefree creatures of the Riverbank.

I lay like that for hours. Jap held Arundel Island.      For six days all I read was a book on Mehmet the Conquerer and an article on Lt. Hugh Barr Miller.
