The above picture is a duck I took in, it was alive and I had to euthanize it.  How the poor thing lived as long as it did with the damage it had I have no idea, but those wounds were healed up.  It may have been shot with a scattergun.  This was one tough bird to have survived so long in this condition.

 Sinbad and The Old Man of the Sea.   One of my favorite books ever, I was given this when I was a child.  I still have it, and it started a lifelong love for the artist, Gustav Tenggren.    Tenggren worked for Disney at one point in his life, notably Bambi and Pinocchio.  Is this awesome or what?    Aladdin.    Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.    Sinbad in the Valley of the Snakes.    Scheherazade.    The Serpent Queen.    The Serpent Queen.    Sinbad.    Morgan about to save her master.  Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.    I've never been the same after reading this.
