The Satanist Church

This is the statue of Baphomet, intended for the Oklahoma statehouse.  I don't know who did this nor do I care.  It is extremely well sculpted by an artist of much skill.  The story behind this is all over the net so I will not bother to go into it here.   Satanism is a religion for fools who cannot do basic logic.  Let us say, just for argument, that all religion is false, which, strictly speaking, it is.  Unprovable.  In that case, why worship or even pretend to worship a malevolent being?  Also, the name is a joke.  Whoever this is supposed to be, whatever level of hell this being represents, it is Lucifer by any other name.  The Light Bringer.  There would only be one entity, just as archangels etc... are only the manifestation of God. Decent religions are about  love. Not, say again, not "Do As Thou Wilt".  As Rabbi Hillel said, "The entire Talmud is about the Golden Rule.  All the rest is commentary.  Go and learn it".

I drew this the day of the 1987 "Harmonic Convergence" and entitled it "Old Wine, New Bottle".  All belief in supernatural crap leads to Hell of some form or the other.  And yes, I am completely aware of all shades of meaning in what I have just written.  The meaning of life is to create new life.  Everything else is shadow.

Having said all this, I do not believe in God, but I am afraid of him.

Two Sides Of The Same Coin

 It was a lovely day in November.  At least Tom thought it was November, the air was crisp and cool and it felt Novemberish.  There were no calenders here, while he had a clock he rarely looked at it.  He never had to be anywhere at any particular time in any event, when he had to be somewhere he always showed up on time, if that's the word for it.  Anyway, it was a nice Fall day. Tom stood on his porch that surrounded the small field stone house, he could see and smell the smoke from his neighbor's fires, someone was cooking fish and the big cat was salivating.  Since he had had his coffee he wasn't hungry, but the fish really smelled enticing.  Odd, he thought, I haven't had meat since I got here.  When did I get here?  he thought to himself, I don't remember.  Maybe someplace in town sold meat, although he had never seen such a shop.  It didn't matter, what with the bread and potatoes and butter and honey he was never hungry.  Tom lit a cigarette
