Israel Rouchomovsky

Gold skeleton by Israel Rouchomovsky.  The article I got this from calls him a "genius forger".  This was in the International Business Times and this is dead wrong.  Israel was commissioned to make a Scythian gold crown, the Tiara of Saitaferne, that was bought by the Louvre in 1895.  They should have known better.  Mr. Rouchomovsky heard about the brouhaha over the crown's authenticity and traveled to Paris and set everyone straight.  Thomas Hoving says the Louvre experts fucked up badly.

176 articulated parts.

Knocked down at Sothebys for 365,000 dollars.  Is that all?

Ici le chapeau d'or!
