Forward, Comrades!
One night, c. 1987, me and the boys were getting lit up somewhere around Dallas. My brother had a camera, and in all the tumult a few of us posed as if we were a bas-relief commemorating the Revolution. Later my brother used that picture as a base for this painting. This is signed S. Davis and dated 1988. I hate the painting but it is pretty well done. 8 X 10", oil on canvas. I really need to be thrusting a tri-color forward or holding a Red Star at arm's length above my head.
