Found Photo 2

Another picture my brother came up with in a antique shop.  These guys are really cutting loose in this!  The engineer type in the foreground is not afraid to show his eyes, unlike some people in this snap.  Wherever they are, it is a nice day and these employed, smart guys are having some fun. The foreground car has it's trunk open and these guys probably have an aluminum cooler back there.

Somebody will recognize this brand of beer, I have no idea what kind it is but you used a churchkey to open it.  Slow down, big guy, it's 10 A.M!  (perfesser-bear just wrote, he has identified this as Miller, and blondie is a dead ringer for D. B. Cooper.  A big shout out for this most learned ursine)!

The man above in the sunglasses seems unusually focused and determined.  Whatever is going on here seems miles away from what this guy is thinking.  Maybe he's still bothered by what happened over Schweinfurt.

Devil may care.  Sassy!  He went to the same guy that did Herbert Hoover's hair and never looked back!
But wait, what's this?

A 1934 - 37 Chrysler Airflow 8 or DeSoto Airstream with the wheel cover gone, the fender has been in a scrape and that is probably what happened to the cover.  A lovely and innovative design, these were of frameless box construction and very radical.  It did not catch on, I have heard part of the problem was it being made of unsprung metal.  Philip Dick mentions that in one of his stories. These were extremely radical and good looking cars, but it was a major flop.  8 cylinders in-line, with the engine over the front axle.  It had teething problems and in the last year Chrysler only built 4,600 of them.  This puts this photo in the 1945 - 1960 range since the car was still drivable at the time this was taken.  The other car has an Illinois license plate, and on the back of the photo is written 'Dad, Ray, and Kenny'.
