A Propituary Act

Billy hoists a newly painted iron fish to a post facing the bay.  The purpose is purely decorative, or so the rabbit tells himself.  His friend Charlie LeChat knows Billy rarely does anything not dictated by superstition or impulse, but says nothing.  Night is coming and the harvest moon adds a frisson of weird to the bunny's actions.
Who needs to go to a bar when you can watch your nutcase rabbit friend do, well, anything?
