The End Of A Very Good Day

After a brisk workout, I went home with my friend Greg, who wanted to show me his place.  It was just awesome.  The view from the windows of the Laguna Madre, the lovely things in his apartment.  I stretched my powerful, golden legs and quivered my tail in delight.  Greg and I split a joint and a bottle of decent Cabernet.  One of the songs I remember after the poppers came out was "Dead Egyptian Blues".

"A little dried up Maui Wow'wie all crumbled in a bong,
A letter from my honey that says I'll love you kid, so long"!

Michael Smith, "Dead Egyptian Blues", the best folk song ever.  Well done, Mr. Smith.
