Billy Hunter!

 When Billy was a young bunny, Eerie Magazine brought out Hunter, about a half demon half human who was a scout for the United States Armed Forces before the entire government collapsed.  Demian Hunter was the product of the rape of his mother by the demon Ophal, who also killed his mother's husband.  Demian wore a whup ass skintight suit with a computerized helmet for communications and night vision.  In the first story he is in the former Rocky Mountains and he is about to freeze to death, Billy will never forget the line on the second page of that story where Hunter prays 'that the barely functioning thermal unit of the suit will not for a while fail'!

As can be see Hunter's suit is more appropriate for an episode of The Running Man, I amped it up and had I colored it I would have made it green and black.  I really like how this high tech combat gear is supplemented with skins and a ragged cape.  Hunter's primary weapon is some kind of electrified rod, I couldn't get behind that so I gave him a knife and a firearm.

Two Sides Of The Same Coin

 It was a lovely day in November.  At least Tom thought it was November, the air was crisp and cool and it felt Novemberish.  There were no calenders here, while he had a clock he rarely looked at it.  He never had to be anywhere at any particular time in any event, when he had to be somewhere he always showed up on time, if that's the word for it.  Anyway, it was a nice Fall day. Tom stood on his porch that surrounded the small field stone house, he could see and smell the smoke from his neighbor's fires, someone was cooking fish and the big cat was salivating.  Since he had had his coffee he wasn't hungry, but the fish really smelled enticing.  Odd, he thought, I haven't had meat since I got here.  When did I get here?  he thought to himself, I don't remember.  Maybe someplace in town sold meat, although he had never seen such a shop.  It didn't matter, what with the bread and potatoes and butter and honey he was never hungry.  Tom lit a cigarette
