Albedo

As usual, it's the Rabbits that are the problem.  An old story.

 Bastards.

The Lapines are thorough.

These two are playing by the rules.  Court-martial a'coming!

A rare action scene.  For such a theme there is not much fighting shown in this comic.  Exceptional art and writing but a dearth of action.

Models kick ass.

Extra-Planetary Defense Forces, EDF heavy infantry.  Heavy infantry are used as armored frontal assault units or for holding a position with powerful weaponry and generally backed up by all combat elements in a division.  Marine infantry is heavy, they have light units but those are for reconnaissance.  Intelligence is not required for frontline footsoldiers and is detrimental to their careers, which can often last several hours.

Independent Lapine Republic skirmishers.  Skirmishers are lightly armed troops deployed ahead or on the flanks of the main body of a formation.  They do not have the divisional weapons at their disposal as a rule. They act as a 'doorbell' for the unit.  Commando and airborne units are skirmishers.  In WWII our paratroopers had a saying,' to light to fight, too heavy to move', due to them being overloaded with equipment and supplies.  Airborne troops usually end up as hostages to the enemy forces, forcing their army to get off it's butt and rescue them.  That is what Bastogne was all about.  These figurines can be found here-

Nuts.

Steve Gallacci was an Air Force technical illustrator.  Albedo started in 1983 and is credited as kicking off the modern furry fandom, probably not completely right but it is up there as an influence.  Albedo is the proportion of the incident light or radiation that is reflected by a surface, typically that of a planet or moon.  I am guessing that is Mr. Gallacci's description of his black and white comic.

This entire adorable Easter Bunny thing is ILR propaganda.

You have been warned.
